I too like that show. The only thing the supernanny does that I don't agree with is make the children say they are sorry. When a child does something inappropriate it's important to talk about what they have done and how the outcome hurts others. An automatic "I'm sorry" is not allowing the child to understand. They learn that when they do something negative all they have to do is say they are sorry and their parent will hug them and everything is fine. Maybe that child isn't sorry. Maybe acting out in a negative fashion is the only way they know how to express their feelings. I think it's our job as parents to help teach children there are other ways to express yourself.

Anyway, now that I have ranted....please forgive me. I have always wanted to share that, so thank you for writing about Supernanny.

Overall, a very positive show that can help a lot of families.
