Congratulations! You’ve found the new and improved version of BalancingMotherhood.com. I’ve just completed a platform change and decided to move forward with a redesign as well.
Among the improvements are:

• an easier sense of navigation in the upper left
• categories moved to the left to act as more navigation
• search is still prominent (in the upper right)
• advertising rail

Why ads? I’m not doing this just to make money. Blogging is a way to express myself and to stay creative, but it is also a way to help women, which is a lifetime goal of mine. By allowing ads on my site, it will help me to pay for services so that I can continue to do what I love.

In the future, I’ll be adding more permanent features about my most popular topics so be sure to visit again. If this is your first visit, I hope you’ll find something here that helps you as a Mom. I update posts daily so there is plenty of information every week.

What I’m most excited about in this redesign is that this is moving from being just a blog, to being a full Web site. I hope you enjoy the new look!
