Today I watched the inauguration on a big jumbo screen. Not in Washington D.C., but on the university campus where I work. I saw the throngs of people at the mall in DC and am reminded how big the office of the President is. It’s truly larger-than-life.
The President has a lot before him. Has the issues of every American now on his shoulders. Not unlike motherhood, the President is responsible for the livelihood of others. To give hope and inspiration.
As mothers, we must continue to strive for that which is high. To teach our children that they can be whatever they want to be. To believe in ourselves in our roles and always do our best.
