Question of Soul Mates

Published by Alicia at BalancingMotherhood.com at 8:27 am under In the news

So, the Governor of South Carolina has now said that his Argentinian lover is his “soul mate,” but he wants to try to save his marriage to his wife.

Doesn’t take a large number of brain cells to know that all of the WORLD now knows he doesn’t think his wife is his soul mate. He says he’s going to try to fall back in love with his wife.

How noble.

It’s as if he’s saying .. Honey, this other woman is my soul mate, you are number two, but I will try to fall in love with you.

I don’t know anyone who could willingly stay in a relationship knowing that someone else is loved more then they are. There are just all kinds of wrong with this one.

In other words… “Honey, you’re my number 2, but you live near me, so I’m gonna see how it goes with you…” what a dufus.

I thought the same thing when I heard it on the news. I haven’t heard how how his wife feels about this. Is she even willing to take him back?

Sadly, sometimes even when you KNOW how ridiculous that is, and how stupid it would be to stay, there are other considerations.

Oddly enough, after talking about this jerk tonight after dinner, my husband got caught in his own indiscretion with a female co-worker.

I can imagine quite a few of the feelings Mrs. Sanford must be experiencing.

I don’t know what I’m going to do, so I understand completely that she might not know either.

I would show him the door AND let the door hit him in the tushy as it slammed shut!
