I’m so excited about the summer Olympics starting tonight. My kids are 6 and 3 and I think will enjoy watching a lot of the games. My son is a swimmer so we’ll certainly be watching swimming and diving. One of the swimmers on the Olympic team is from our hometown and swam at the school where my son now swims. It’s been really cool making that connection for him — one day, you too, can be an Olympian! (If that’s what you want to do.)
I’ve been seeing a lot of chatter on Facebook from my mother friends about the Olympics, but did you know that there are several mothers participating as Olympians? Yep, several mothers are competing. No matter if you are in the games, or just watching we can all cheer for TEAM MOM!
