Goals for 2013

A new year is the time for renewal, diets and goal setting … or, so it seems. I’m not much into New Year’s resolutions, but sometimes we need something greater than ourselves to push us into doing that thing that we’ve wanted to do, but haven’t been able to seem to get to on our own.

Last year I started an executive MBA program. It’s something I’d wanted to do for years, but wasn’t sure how to go about doing it. Will I get in? Can I pass the GMAT? Can I succeed in these classes?

I’m half way through and can say “yes!” to all these answers. It’s hard, oftentimes grueling, but it’s worthwhile time. Something I’m so glad to be doing. The blog has suffered, as have many other areas of interest (there is no TV in my life right now) but it will return. I’ll continue posting, as I can, and plan on picking the pace up upon summer graduation. I have big plans for this little blog. I managed to bake two cakes since entering grad school, so I’ll find a way to post those.
