It seems it’s “the thing” to do – choosing a word for the year, but I can tell you that it really does make a difference in you life. When you have one word to refer to all year long, to guide you and inspire you everything can fall into place.
One year my husband and I chose the word SIMPLE. Any time we had a decision that was hard to make we went with the option that was the simplest, least complicated option. It made our decisions so much easier that year.
This year, I’m choosing HUSTLE as my word. Yeah, baby! I’m going to hustle like never before and make my blog my business. I’m going to make wise decisions and when I get tired from a long day and don’t feel like “working” on my blog I”m going to remember that I need to hustle to make my dreams come true.
So, how do you decide on a word?
I’ve put together a workbook (it’s not too long, trust me! I know you’re busy!) that will walk you through step on creating a list of possible words. Then you narrow down from there. I even give you a list to get started. The goal-setting workbook is free and you can get it here. It also comes with a goal-setting page to help you choose big goals for the year, family goals, and personal goals too.
And, wait, there’s more! As an added bonus I created a Daily Docket that you can use each day to track your goals, and even keep track of your water intake and exercise for the day — we all need to stay healthy, don’t we!
So, tell me what your word is! I’d love to know.
